Everything Rises and Falls.

In the end the "seer" prophet Todd Bentley has come to his end. After starting his "great" revival April 2 it is now coming to an end on August 23. Hardly a long revival when compared to that of Brownsville and other well-known revivals. Maybe because those revivals where down with the focus of repentance and salvation. This revival was focused mostly on healing and angels.

Unfortunately all the people who trusted so strongly in Todd Bentley, who placed their trust in someone other than God, have come to see his true colors. What is even more unfortunate is that most will ignore even these warning signs because they want so basly to believe something that is not.

The Bible says not to allow someone to be a deacon or elder, and pastors are elders and deacons (as we have been taught), if their family is not in order. Neither should you entertain one if they are violent. 1 Timothy 3:1-7 teaches us what an overseer, which is the office of elder and deacon, should behave like;

" Here is a trustworthy saying: If anyone sets his heart on being an overseer, he desires a noble task. Now the overseer must be above reproach, the husband of but one wife, temperate, self-controlled, respectable, hospitable, able to teach, not given to drunkenness, not violent but gentle, not quarrelsome, not a lover of money. He must manage his own family well and see that his children obey him with proper respect. (If anyone does not know how to manage his own family, how can he take care of God's church?) He must not be a recent convert, or he may become conceited and fall under the same judgment as the devil. He must also have a good reputation with outsiders, so that he will not fall into disgrace and into the devil's trap."

Well, we already know that Todd Bentley used violence to heal people or at least so he claimed. Todd Bentley has claimed numerous times that God told him to hurt people in order to see people healed. Yet this contradicts the word of God because God instructed us that the seven fruits of the spirit include gentleness and that we should not be violent. Not to mention that those leading us are not to be violent but gentle. But people have already looked the other way on this matter and laughed at Todd Bentley talking about his violence towards other and have even been violent on stage. Who else kicks a man with stage IV colon cancer in the gut? Surely Christ did not kick old women in their faces or knock down Chinese men.

Please do not ignore the warnings. Violence is never of God. Neither is a man divorcing his wife. The Bible says to at all costs not separate, but if you must do everything in your power to become reconciled. For God is a God of reconciliation. Instead of heading this advice, Todd Bentley filled for separation yesterday from his wife Shonnah and is taking the first steps towards divorce according to his associate pastors in "Fresh Fire Ministries." It is time to see that Todd Bentley is not living for Christ. Or if you were convinced that he was all this time please at least realize he has fallen now. This whole time Todd Bentley's family has been in disrepair. They have been in marriage counseling for months. If Todd Bentley loved his wife and was obeying scripture he would have put off conferences and evangelistic meetings in order to save his marriage.
